Panic! II

Falkinn adjusted her Optical Hat on her head, it made her look funny, seeing as how she was a Mithra, but she didn’t care, after the blood, sweat and tears it took for her to get it, she was more than willing to wear it proudly. She was enjoying her night out, away from farming, away from trying to party, to enjoy it with Chell and Bigby. They were toasting at the Sandy Tavern run by Fusan. She returned form the bathroom as Chell toasted her again, she was welcoming her to the shell. She felt loved. Chell has had too many drinks, and she didn’t seem quite in her right mind. Big was slurring his words as he spoke to Falk. Drunkenly they stumbled out of the inn, they had made Falk their designated walker. It was her job to make sure that they got to their moghouse in one piece. Sandy was dark tonight as the stars shone on the sidewalk, causing for beautiful scenery of peacefulness. Big and Chell had pushed the incident out of their mind, they decided it was just best to forget about it, but lately they have been having dreams. Every time they lay their heads down on a pillow Go’Bhu pops up, sword waving, coming for them. Chell didn’t want to believe the last thing her eyes saw when she Tele’d them to safety. “Did he just pick up his sword?” she asked herself as they traveled the desert, heading to take haven in Rabao. Falk didn’t know anything about the incident, because all four of them decided it was best to not talk about it. They also never shared the nightmares that NM has caused them. Vol was working on never sleeping, chugging coffee like it was water and Soul has had recent panic attacks. He constantly looks over his shoulder no matter where he is, he feels Go’Bhu’s presence around him at all times. Chell stopped walking, her eyes halfway closed, she began view things. Evil things, she knew she shouldn’t day dream, because he owned her. Go’Bhu was a part of her she won’t ever forget. He owned her. Falk brought her back to reality, as they sat on a nearby bench taking in the sight. They talked, about nothing really, just getting to know Falk and what she liked. Chell did a double-take, she felt eyes on her, burning threw her, she looked all around. She saw a light on from a nearby house, the bottom floor lights were on, but the top floor shone a single light. She looked up at it as the curtain swayed, she saw a figure behind it. She felt drawn to it, staring as Falk looked with her, clueless as to what she saw in the empty house that was so interesting. That’s when the panic set in, she didn’t see a figure, she saw a sword, great sword was the silhouette behind the curtain. Standing there, taunting her, she knows whose it was, she knows who it belongs to. It was Go’Bhu and he was coming back for her. She trembled next to Falk, her knees hitting hers abruptly. Then she saw red eyes poking from behind the white silk curtain, two of them forming behind the great sword. She knew it, she knew he was alive, he grabbed his sword and now he wanted to kill me. Her heart nearly left her chest due to fear. Falk stared at the window, and then stared at Chell. She couldn’t put her finger on what it was that Chell saw.

Bigby had made his way through the market, telling Chell and Falk to stay there, but he needed to get a bite to eat. Standing in front of the merchant, he looked at the black robe that covered him from head to toe. Not a inch of his body was exposed, Big paid no mind to it, Sandy was full of freaks like him, especially at night and he paid for his meal and began to walk away. As he bit into it, tasting the savory sub made from cockatrice meat he screamed in agony, a sharp pain running over his tongue as blood spewed from his mouth. He reached for a napkin, anything to control the bleeding, the merchant began to walk away slowly, unsuspectingly. Big raced after him, darting through the crowd who gathered outside the Tavern to get a late night drink, he ran down the alley way and Big followed. He saw him climb a ladder, and perch himself upon a roof and Big went after him with full adrenaline. Standing on the edge off the Cathedral, he peered at Big. “Why would you…” Big began, the merchant froze as he looked over the edge. He was sitting on the edge as if he may jump down, big realized that was nonsense as that drop will kill him for sure. “What’s your problem man?” Big asking taking more steps toward him. “You must be from Bastok selling shit like that.” He was furious. The merchant didn’t say two words to him, but the closer Bigby walked, the more he looked like he was going to jump. With his back turned to him as he approached, Big gripped his shoulder, trying to turn the man around. The Merchant shoved Bigby away. “Die peasant.” He cried as he shoved Big towards the ledge, he thought quick and grabbed a hold of the merchant, if he was going down so was he. As they wrestle for a few, the merchant slipped, teetering over the edge before he fell silently. It happened to quick for Big to digest it, but he had to look down, he knew it would be gruesome. He peered over the edge and all that remained at the bottom was a cloak. Confusion set inside his soul, he figured it was the alcohol inside of him. He turned to walk away and froze. “Fuck me.” He cried. Go’Bhu appeared at the other end of the Cathedral, sword equipped and cloak in hand. Big pinched himself over and over again. Trying to wake himself up, he figured it was another bad dream. His mind shutdown as his feet gravitated towards the NM… He felt the hot breath hit his nostrils…….. he closed his eyes…….
